what are the disadvantages in investing in blue chip stocks???
When blue chips grow so big….they simply cannot achieve the same grow rates as smaller competitors. They can even innovate better and gain more market share, but still not outpace the stock appreciation of their smaller competitors.
Also, non-US since 2003 has been growing >4X US, and any bluechips that haven't or weren't able to shift sales to non-US in a big way are lagging behind.
