I think five years from now people will look back at the majors like Bank of America (BAC), Wells Fargo (WFC) and US Bancorp (USB) as great bargains.
If you look closely at what these banks are doing, it is clear that they do not believe the sky is falling. For example, BAC's acquisition of Countrywide. They just acquired the largest mortgage business in the USA for pennies on the dollar.
