Growth stocks also go hand in hand with the future commodties market. Growth stocks are considered stocks that will increase in value over time. So if you buy a stock for $100 and its labelled as a growth stock (with historical or future evidence of this), the value of this stock will increase higher than the normal CPI level or business forecasts.
