How to add Stock Index to website?

I would like to know , how can we add stock index to our website. Some may call it a stock ticker.

There is a Jquery plug-in called JStockTicker. This makes it really easy to add a stock ticker to your site.

There are step by step instructions on how to get this to work on your site and it doesn't require any specific programming language other then javascript and HTML.
